Local cleanroom-simulation training for Micron chip-fab careers — a 12-week technician bootcamp or a 1–2 year electromechanical degree.

Onondaga Community College partnered directly with Micron — building the largest semiconductor fab in the U.S. in nearby Clay, NY — to train Central New Yorkers for chip-fabrication careers. Programs range from a 12-week Semiconductor Technician Bootcamp to one-year certificate and two-year associate degrees, taught in OCC’s new $15M Micron Cleanroom Simulation Lab.
